Ah, Christmas at McDonald’s. A time for merriment, big flavours and goodwill to all…
That is, until a certain furry green menace got involved. For Christmas 2025 The Grinch came along to steal McDonald’s Christmas. Bringing the mischief to life across CRM, we ran early hints to tease the trouble, vandalised existing regular sends and went on full-on Dr Seuss with rhyming poems across Easter-egg-filled long scrolls.
As well as the main ‘Grinched For Adults’ meal, The Grinch had been busy mixing up some more mischievous food items.
The next step in The Grinch’s plan to sabotage Maccies? Why, super-unauthorised, strictly limited time only deals, of course.
The Grinch is a busy man (well, Grinch…)
His daily deals caused mischief and havoc for the best part of a whole month leading up to Christmas.
Of course, there was only one snag. The Grinch’s food was DELICIOUS. And popular, too – giving McDonald’s some of their busiest trading days of the year.
All this festivity could only mean one thing. Our mischievous, sabotage-loving friend might be redeemed after all. Could he really grow to LOVE Christmas?
By the end of the campaign, everything Grinchy had sold out across the country. The mischief might have been over… but we’re sure we’ll see our furry green friend again some day.
